The SLoAS project, with the University of the Arts London, explored diverse representations in the virtual world using holograms in augmented reality. It involved 3D scanning, real-time motion capture, and combining models and animations in Motion Builder. The final application in Unity, using the Vuforia Engine, overlaid these models onto the real world. Two versions were made—one using ground plane recognition via a projector and another using image targeting recognition for placing models at different room locations—both showcased at the UAL show.
